My Meeting With Rx Was No Coincidence

I have created music in both Analog and Digital sources we presently have in our entertainment industry. The first instrumentals I produced we recorded to a Tascam 24 track with a 2-inch tape reel.
I last purchased one with a price tag of $254.00 only to do one song. In college I took a radio class where I learned to make radio commercials on a ½ inch tape. It was the old cut and tape together editing system. I learned to operate analog boards with tubes in them. Had to be there early to warm up the system. Prior to losing the studio, it took Protools to load less then 24 seconds. It took 12 seconds to have computer online, and another 12 seconds to run the app while turning on primary power switches to the rest of the gear.
Rx has become a tool used 95% of the time for my research. It has taken time because it is unusual to use the software as I have. You will now be able to hear what I have been working on, and why it takes a large amount of time.

Learning an Rx life saving process

When I first began to help a new friend, I had no idea where to start. I can not imagine how anyone would accomplish this task in the analog world because equipment alone would have cost an arm and a leg.

    A way back home

“I don’t have to have that car right now, but I wanted it so badly. I will try to get it on credit and deal with it tomorrow. I look good in this car, can I borrow some gas money? With this crazy car payment, I will never get ahead.”

  • My First Meeting With Rx-6

We worked only a short time because I got evicted from a five-year rental house. You can read my eviction post if you want to start to connect the dots.
